"While most dog parks are on land owned by developers and are paid for through fundraising and member-ship fees, the Pershing park would have cosponsors in Pulaski Bank, Mills Properties’ Metropolis DeBaliviere and the DeBaliviere Place neighborhood association. The co-sponsors would cover construction costs, which Ward said are often more than one would expect for a fairly simple park."
